Model: Claude Opus 5.5
The motion engine, the props mapping, the validator, the docs and the agent skills were written with Claude Code running Claude Opus 5.5, and the template is built to be edited the same way.
Open the folder in your coding agent, describe the invitation and point at your photos; it edits the props, checks the stills in both formats and renders. Or edit a copy of props/default.json yourself and use Remotion Studio.
The previews above are the template's defaults: the landscape cut plays first, the vertical cut is in the gallery.
Render times measured on an Apple Silicon laptop. Stills of any scene take seconds; use them to check changes before rendering.

A soft white card with drifting bokeh sparkles and a border of pink watercolour roses and leaves. "With our friends and families" fades in, "Save The Date" writes on in the script font out of a soft blur, then the date appears between two thin lines — month, the big day number, year — with the ceremony time and place underneath.
Change texts.intro, texts.title, texts.date (month, day, year) and texts.ceremony; the thin lines use colors.lines and the script uses colors.accent. Months wider than APRIL need a short form (SEPT, NOV).
Music guide
Built-in AI-generated track (38 s) that fades out with the closing card (music.fadeOutSeconds). Swap in the couple's song with music.src (a file in public/audio) and set music.volume; music: null renders a silent video.
A Save the Date wedding invitation video built as a Remotion project and rendered in two formats from one settings file: 16:9 for YouTube, TV screens, websites and presentations, and 9:16 for Instagram Reels and Stories, WhatsApp Status, TikTok and Shorts. Seven scenes run 38 seconds on a soft white card framed by watercolour roses and drifting sparkles: the title and date, the couple, the bride, the groom, the venue, the schedule of the day and a closing card with the wedding website. Names and titles flow in a script font; the couple's three photos sit in rose-trimmed pentagon frames.
Everything you change lives in one JSON props file: the bride's and groom's names, the date, the ceremony time and place, the parents' names with their D/o and S/o prefixes, the venue address, four schedule entries, the closing line and website, four colours (text, accent, lines, frames), the three photos and the music with its fade-out. A validator measures every text with the real fonts in both formats and warns when a line would run into the day number, a photo or the roses; stills of every scene preview a change in seconds, and Remotion Studio gives you a live editor.
The project ships with rules and skills for AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor and GitHub Copilot): describe the invitation you want, point at your photos, and the agent edits the props, validates the texts, shows you previews of both formats and renders. Scripts cover validation, per-scene stills and clips, single-scene and frame-range renders, an inspector that lists every field by scene and a software renderer for machines without a GPU. Masters are 4K in both formats; renders go from 720p to 4K.
