Copyright & Takedown Policy

Effective from 26 September 2026.

ANKY.AI respects the intellectual property of creators and rights-holders and expects the same from everyone who sells here. This policy explains how to report content that infringes your copyright, trademark or other rights, what we do with a report, and how a creator can respond. It follows the Copyright Act, 1957, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and it also accepts notices in the form used under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Reporting an infringement

Send your notice by email to [email protected] with "Copyright notice" in the subject line, or by post to ANKY.AI, Unit No. 324, 3rd Floor, Centura Square Building, Plot No. B-44 & B-44A, S.G. Barve Road, Wagle Estate, Thane, Maharashtra 400604, India. To be actionable the notice must contain:

• your full name, organisation (if any), postal address, email address and phone number;
• identification of the work you claim is infringed, with a link to the original or proof of ownership such as a registration, publication or contract;
• the exact URL of each ANKY.AI listing or file you are reporting;
• a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights-holder, its agent or the law;
• a statement, made under penalty of perjury or as a sworn declaration under Indian law, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights-holder or authorised to act for them;
• your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices delay action; we will tell you what is missing.

What we do

• We acknowledge every notice within 24 hours with a ticket number.
• If the notice is complete and credible we disable access to the reported content within 36 hours, suspend further sales of it, and inform the creator, sharing the notice with them.
• We keep records of the notice and of our actions as the law requires, and we act immediately on any court order or government direction to remove content.
• Buyers who purchased a removed listing keep their invoices; whether their licence continues depends on the outcome of the dispute, and we refund in line with the Refund & Cancellation Policy where the law or fairness requires it.

Counter-notice by the creator

A creator whose content was removed may send a counter-notice to the same address containing their contact details, identification of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that they believe in good faith the removal was a mistake or misidentification, and their consent to the jurisdiction of the courts at Thane, Maharashtra. We forward the counter-notice to the complainant. If the complainant does not inform us within 10 business days that they have started legal proceedings, we may restore the content.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that receive repeated valid notices, or that upload content they clearly had no right to sell, are closed, their remaining earnings are withheld pending resolution of claims, and they are not readmitted.

Misuse of this process

Knowingly false notices or counter-notices can make you liable for damages, including legal costs, to the party harmed. Please make sure you hold the rights before you write to us.

Trademarks and other rights

Complaints about trademark use, rights of publicity or privacy, or defamatory content follow the same procedure; describe the right concerned and why the content violates it.
